Any report can have
multiple sections. Multiple sections can be used to present different
views of the data to the person who views the report. Each section
has one information map data source. However, it can use data from
many different sources by including multiple stored processes. There
is no limit to the number of sections that can be included in a report.
Once you have created sections in a report, you can choose to independently
view, link to, or distribute a specific report section.
You can use a group
break to divide report sections by distinct category or hierarchy
level values when you are using a relational or multidimensional data
source. When you set a group break, it applies to all elements in
the section.
For more information
about group breaks, see Grouping Query Results.
