Similar to headers and
footers, you can use images and text to include corporate standards,
such as logos and text that indicates confidentiality, in your reports.
One of the differences is the ability to insert multiple images and
text objects wherever you want them to appear in the layout. You can
also link images and text to another report or to a Web page.
You can insert images
from a repository or from your local machine. If you select an image
from your local machine, it is saved to the repository. You can also
add tooltip text to an image. Text objects can be used to display
static text, dynamic prompt values, and measure values.
If you are authorized
to save reports, you should be able to save images to the repository
for use in the body of a report. (This is different from the header
and footer images, which only system administrators can update.) If
you cannot save images, contact your system administrator.
This chapter discusses
how to use images and text in Edit mode.
