MSG System Option: Windows

Specifies the library that contains the SAS error messages.

Syntax

-MSG library-specification

library-specification: can be a Windows logical name (including search strings) or pathname. Do not include a filename. If the pathname contains spaces, you must enclose the pathname in quotation marks.

The MSG system option specifies the name of the library for SAS error messages.

You can use the APPEND and INSERT system options to add additional file specifications.
