Some application features
(such as subscriptions to publishing channels) can use contact information
that is stored in user definitions.

Select the user whose
phone number, e-mail address, or location that you want to store.
Note: You cannot store contact
information for groups or roles.

Right-click and select
Properties.

On the
General tab, select the
Email,
Phone, or
Address tab and then click
New.

In the Properties dialog
box, enter contact information.
Tip
If you batch synchronize users
and want to preserve contact information that you enter interactively,
use a consistent value in the
Type field.
In your synchronization code, you can use this value to define exceptions
that exclude this data from the batch update.
