Determining Your Upgrade Path for the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office

  1. Before you upgrade, see SAS Add-In 5.1 for Microsoft Office.
  2. The SAS Add-In 5.1 for Microsoft Office works with SAS 9.2 and SAS 9.3. This document assumes that you want to run the SAS Add-In 5.1 for Microsoft Office on SAS 9.3. When you upgrade to SAS 9.3, you can migrate, or you can create a new deployment. For specific steps, see the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Migration Guide (if you are migrating to the new release) or the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Installation and Configuration Guide (if you are creating a new deployment).
