SAS shipped the fifth
maintenance release for SAS Enterprise GRC 5.1 in November 2013.
This maintenance release
has added several new features, which include, but are not limited
to the following:

You can now turn off the customizable
workflow and revert to legacy behavior for objects related to risk
management (risks, controls, and potential impacts).

You can now turn off the customizable
incident management workflow and revert to the legacy behavior for
incident management objects. (Turning off this option also disables
workflow for any incident-related objects such as financial effects,
allocations, and so on.)

The Workflows data loader can now
be used to delete or stop workflows.

Risk assessments can now be saved
as drafts.

Form-based assessments can now
accept free-form text entries for assessment measures.

Returned or rejected assessments
now appear in the task list for assessors.

A new information map has been
added for cause instances.

All information maps have been
updated to correct the assessment trend when there are multiple scores
for the same measure and question within a given assessment. The
last score per measure per assessment is used in the trend calculation.

Insurance policies can now use
the Custom Page Builder functionality.

Capabilities have been enhanced
to allow for improved security and flexibility.
-
Action plans can now be reopened
after they have been approved.
-
SAS Enterprise now supports the
use of Oracle Real Application Clusters.
