  1. Before you upgrade, see SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform System Administration and SAS Intelligence Platform 9.3_M1(if appropriate).
  2. To upgrade to the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform, you can migrate or you can create a new deployment. For specific steps, see the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Migration Guide (if you are migrating to the new release) or the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Installation and Configuration Guide (if you are creating a new deployment).
