Input and Target Sequences

After the input and target working series are formed, they can be treated as two ordered sequences. Given an input time sequence, ${x_{i}}$, for $i = 1$ to ${N_{x}}$, where i is the input sequence index, and a target time sequence, ${y_{j}}$, for $j = 1$ to ${N_{y}}$, where j is the target sequence index, these sequences are analyzed for similarity.
